Welcome to the Mildura Club

Nestled in one of Mildura's original and most iconic buildings, the Mildura Club stands proudly at the corner of Deakin Avenue and 9th Street, right beside the Cinema Deakin.

We invite you to consider visiting the Mildura Club and consider it for your next event or to become a part of our enduring legacy.

History

Our history is deeply intertwined with the growth of Mildura, and we continue to honor many of the traditions established over a century ago. Our landmark building, constructed in 1918/19 and opened in 1920, offers a unique glimpse into the city's past.

Visitors

Looking for a place where community, comfort, and conversation come together? The Mildura Club opens its doors to everyone - men and women alike - with a welcoming smile and a story to share.

As a proud not-for-profit, we're more than just a venue. We're a home away from home. On sun-soaked days, cool down with a crisp drink in great company. When winter settles in, gather around our glowing Mallee Root fire—where laughter crackles and friendships spark.

Don’t miss the charm of our stunning heritage building. Every corner has a tale, and every visit adds a new one. Whether you're a local or just passing through, come discover the soul of Mildura in a place built for connection. Your seat's already waiting.

Building & Facilities

Our building and facilities are available for hire by members and the general public for various occasions. Imagine a wedding dance on our beautiful wooden dance floor, which can be revealed from beneath the carpet.

The Deakin Bar, with its distinctive "punkahs," is a sought-after venue for cocktail parties, corporate events, intimate weddings, and private receptions. Additionally, we offer a dedicated training room equipped with an interactive 75” TV screen and other conference amenities.

The Deck

Recently, we've added a delightful vine-covered deck that overlooks Deakin Avenue and the statue of Mildura’s founder, WB Chaffey, holding his binoculars. Interestingly, "WB" was our second and longest-serving President. Local lore suggests that while one eye is fixed on the development of the district, the other is eagerly watching the front door of his cherished Mildura Club, awaiting opening time.
